Bangladesh

Between 1990 and 1994 Communication for Change (C4C) worked intensively in Bangladesh. This was an exciting period, marked by the fall of Bangladesh's long time military ruler and the beginning of democracy. Through this transition, C4C's partner organizations, Proshika and Banchte Shekha, took leading roles in efforts to improve the status of women and to strengthen democracy. These two collaborations are described separately.
